LEaT stands for “Live, Entertainment and Technology” and is aimed at all players in the entertainment industry. The hub brings together technologies and services from the event sector, both from the live and install markets. LEaT sees itself as an overarching industry platform which, with its four complementary pillars LEaT con, LEaT X, LEaT academy and LEaT Jobs, sustainably strengthens cohesion, exchange and networking in the industry.

LEaT con, the new convention for entertainment technologies for events and install solutions from October 6 to 8, 2026 in Halls A1 and A4 at Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC), is different. It deliberately breaks away from the classic trade fair concept and offers an innovative event experience with a combination of exhibition and convention. Unlike traditional trade fairs, LEaT con complements product presentations with comprehensive information for visitors as well as the increasingly important exchange between the various industry participants on overarching topics, all in one space. This creates a unique mix of exhibition and customer experience that will inspire the audience of the new convention for entertainment technologies for events and install solutions and sustainably support and promote the community spirit of the industry.
AVcon takes place as part of LEaT con from October 6 to 8, 2026 and complements it with its own exhibition area and lecture stages. The focus here is on hardware and software solutions in modern working environments and media installations for companies, institutions and the education sector.
In addition to presentations on the topics that move the AV industry, the exhibition area offers the opportunity to network with solution providers and gain an overview of suitable tools.
AVcon was already part of LEaT con in the last two years under the name “Human X Work Conference”.
Learn more!LEaT X is the pre-season event for the event industry. This is where new products of the year in German-speaking countries can be viewed and tried out for the first time. Product experts will be on hand to answer all product-related questions from users and investors. The focus is on the new products and their possibilities – paired with the typical LEaT space for networking and exchanging ideas. LEaT X South took place together with CiNEC from February 28 to 29, 2024 in Munich.
The last LEaT X will take place from March 4 to 5, 2026 at Dampfdom Munich.
The AVard is the ProAV Award in Germany and honors the best projects and products as well as companies and minds in the industry. Pioneering B2B products and solutions deserve a big stage. Just like the people who develop and sell them. The AVard puts the drivers of the AV industry in the spotlight and is the platform for first-class networking.

The LEaT academy provides the industry with knowledge throughout the year and promotes the exchange of information. It covers the current demand for new information, be it through product presentations, training courses, conferences on specific specialist topics, roundtables on current industry focal points, etc.

The topic of sustainability is very important to us.
Thanks to our system stands, exhibitors do not have to hire their own stand builders, which not only saves time and planning effort, but also minimizes travel by stand builders and CO2 emissions. The system stands end up back in storage after the event and we thus minimize waste. We completely dispense with carpeting in the aisles. Because even recyclable carpet, which is laid out for three days, has to be produced first.
The LEaT con 26 can be visited with a Con Pass or a NextGen Pass.
These tickets include the entire program and no extra ticket is offered.
Admission is only possible from the age of 16. Minors can only visit LEaT con if accompanied by a parent or guardian or as part of a school trip.
