Hamburg Messe is easy to reach on many ways. Just a few tips: Use the Park+Ride service provided by Hamburg City to avoid parking fees and waiting times. Or to avoid traffic and traffic jams altogether: do something good for the environment and use the public transport possibilities or take the chance and go for a relaxing walk through the park “Planten un Blomen”, which is located right next to the trade fair.

Arrival by plane

The Hamburg Airport is located only 10 km outside of Hamburg. The airport is flown to by almost 60 airlines with direct flights, allowing over 130 national and international cities to be reached without a stopover.

The modern airport is located in the northern district of Fuhlsbüttel, about 10 km from the exhibition center. You can find the best flight connections on the Hamburg Airport website.

The terminals of the Hamburg Airport are directly connected to the route network of the Hamburg public transport system (hvv), so that after landing you can quickly get from the airport to the center of Hamburg without changing trains. If you have any questions about the hvv or would like to receive advice on buying tickets, the staff at the Hamburg Welcome Center will be happy to help you. You will find the Hamburg Welcome Center on the 1st floor of the Airport Plaza, across from the entrance to the S-Bahn station.
