The industry’s biggest networking convention!

As an experience technology convention, leat con is not a traditional trade fair, but rather a platform that brings together five distinct sectors. Live tech, stage tech, broadcast, install and communicate – five hubs representing markets that are becoming increasingly interconnected – converge in Hamburg for three days in a single venue. It is precisely at these intersections that new ideas, projects and collaborations emerge that would otherwise rarely be possible.

The exhibition and convention are equally important: for 2026, seven stages, workshops, training areas, demo rooms, masterclasses and side events are planned – not as a supporting programme, but as the core of the event. Since 2021, leat con has been growing steadily – in terms of floor space, areas and community. In 2026, it will celebrate its fifth year: three halls, five hubs, one industry.

Our hubs

leat con 26 is divided into five hubs – each with its own programme, its own stage and a community that calls it home.
The hubs are not isolated worlds: 65% of visitors move between several areas. Anyone familiar with the industry knows that the most exciting ideas emerge precisely where one market ends and another begins.

The live tech Hub is the dedicated area for traditional event technology at leat con 26 – with its own programme, its own stage and a community that works under production conditions every day. This isn’t about glitz and glamour, but about practical application: real-world workflows, the realities of touring, and solutions that can be put to use straight away the very next day. Panels, workshops and keynotes – not just on the live stage – demonstrate what audio, lighting and rigging are capable of today – and where the industry is heading.

System integration, digital signage, workspace solutions, AV over IP: install Hub is the ProAV platform at leat con. Here, manufacturers meet system integrators, as well as planners and end users from businesses, institutions and the education sector. The programme on the AV stage not only demonstrates what technology can do – but also how it works in practice: from AI in system integration to cybersecurity and scalable AV installations.

Stage construction, control systems, scenic technology: the stage tech Hub will mark the start of a new chapter at leat con in 2026. For the first time, a dedicated area will be created for stage technology professionals. Technical managers, set designers and manufacturers will encounter formats that allow for technical depth – from stage machinery and drive technology to control systems and scenic integration. The theatre stage brings together those who not only perform on stages, but also build and operate them.

How are AI and hybrid workflows currently transforming professional media production? At leat con, the broadcast Hub is creating a platform dedicated to this topic under the banner of ‘AI & future workflows’. This is where traditional broadcast infrastructure and new production realities come face to face: from IP workflows and the cloud to AI-supported production processes and hybrid production models.

Cloud telephony, UCC, grid marketing: The communicate Hub is bringing the ICT sector to leat con for the first time in 2026 – with its own programme, its own community and a new opportunity: direct dialogue between ICT and AV.
