Our official partner for more sustainability

We are happy to have NIYU on our side, an absolute professional for sustainable events, for the planning and implementation of LEaT con 2023. The team supports us in all questions and measures to make LEaT con more sustainable. As the experts, they are also ready to share their expertise with the audience - in deep dives and panels on the Main Stage and the Speaker Corners.   Together we want to live up to our own responsibility, but also be a role model: for more sustainability in the event industry!   Let's #greenuptogether

About NIYU

The NIYU event production group is an event planning and production office with five service departments: NIYU.creation, NIYU.consulting, NIYU.engineering, NIYU.productions, and NIYU.sustainability. With this strategic positioning, we are able to offer both independent and combined services. The portfolio of services ranges from event design, show calling, and content production (creation) to feasibility studies, market research, and operational concepts (consulting), as well as technical planning of all trades, tendering processes, and construction supervision (engineering), to the complete production implementation as a full-service solution (productions). The sustainability department can also be commissioned independently or in combination with other NIYU services. The goal is to competently, transparently, and practically accompany the sustainable transformation process of the industry, including strategic materiality and gap analyses, sustainable supply chain management, measures development and monitoring, and holistic CO2e accounting.

The sustainable corporate strategy is based on two principles: Firstly, there is the intrinsic motivation to take responsibility and optimize our actions daily in order to continuously reduce negative impacts. In addition, we combine our many years of expertise in complex event processes with current sustainable project management approaches and technological solutions in order to support our customers professionally and purposefully in their project-specific sustainability efforts as an independent partner. Because these services go far beyond mere technical planning, a dedicated department has been created for this purpose. This allows us to offer the most meaningful service for each customer and project and to have a positive impact on the industry.

As a verified member of the Bundesverband Nachhaltige Wirtschaft (Federal Association of Sustainable Economy), Leaders for Climate Action, and other industry associations, it is important for us to act sustainably ourselves. Our self-developed Sustainability Roadmap, based on the framework of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDG), includes concrete steps such as the use of certified green electricity, sustainable procurement of office supplies, and a train-over-plane policy, as well as a CO2e accounting and compensation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. At the same time, recurring charitable activities and internal and external development opportunities contribute to the social dimension.
