Jill Zimmermann is a talented recording engineer working at Jukasa Recording Studios in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Originally from Krefeld, Germany, she has already made a name for herself in the Canadian music industry, working on productions by artists such as Alice Cooper, Alexisonfire and Three Days Grace. Jill has been awarded the prestigious Juno Award, the highest award in the Canadian music industry, three times and has also been nominated several times. In 2019, even in the category “Recording Engineer of the Year”!<\/p>\n

In her masterclass, Jill shows a session of the hard rock band Rise In Vein, for which she produced the vocals, and documents the remote recording process. The producer also explains how she worked with the singer on vocal development and pronunciation in the studio, and what was involved in the vocal arrangement. She also provides deep insights into vocal editing.<\/p>\n
